Gonna be a while....

Went out with the bass boat today to try for some green ones, air temps around sixty and water temps between 45 and 48 degrees.  Feels more like September than November and with not much for freezing temps in the ten day, I doubt we will be on the ice before Christmas this year.......  :'(

We're gonna need a major cold front to be out by Christmas, this weather is really screwing up my deer hunting as well!

Tell me about it... last year and the year before me and the guys were on the ice on december 11th...one of the lakes we were on last year had nearly 6 inches of solid clear ice on 12/11... This year has been mild.  Even in the Saranac Lake area of the ADK's it's been mild for late November... >:(

it was warm up to thanksgiving last year for the most part.  unfortunatly were past thanksgiving and its not quite cold yet.  it will be here when it gets here sooner or later.   the sooner the better im ready to drill some holes.

I took a few vacation days in Feb hope we got ice by than.

I have my last vacation pick coming up too, picked a June vaca for bass fishing thinking maybe Feb for an ice fishing binge......just don't know if there will be ice.......lol.
