Tis The Season
« on: Dec 04, 2011, 06:35 PM »
Tis the Season for the Sun Dolphin Boys :roflmao:.  I'm sure a majority of you have all winterized your boats and are waiting on ice.  I've got the solution to the problem.  I can get to all of the hot spots without un-winterizing the motor on my boat.  I've got a few extra seats still open.  Now who's with me.

I better eat your Wheaties if your going trolling
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

;D Guess Im not the only one who does that.  ;) Mount up a trolling motor and you are all set.
I love fishing. You put that line in the water and you don't know what's on the other end. Your imagination is under there. -Robert Altman

Skeeter that one is a fancy model.  I like the smaller style so you can really sneak up on them.  :roflmao:.  My buddies all made fun of me for buying it until I sent them the pics and videos of what I was catching in it.

Wax, my next day off is Thursday.  You can pick the lake.  Keep in mind that I prefer to fish lakes where good fishing is close to the ramp.  Takes alot of effort to get to the other end of the lake and back.

Had a little bass tracker about 61/2 feet almost drown trying to cross goose lake in Whitley county with a buddie when a summer storm came in and couldn't get off the lake in time. Trolling motor about 19 ft.lbs.  Got real touch and go for a while, buddie hasn't wanted to go since at least not in the little bass tracker, darn guy just doesn't have a sense of humor. Those little boats can really get ya into some good places, but unlike me use the good sense god gave you. teardrop

A good friend of mine just loved fishing. Mainly an open water guyu but in the winter when the ice froze the small lake by his house in southern Indiana he would get out his little aluminum jon boat and push it across the ice. Drill a couple of holes and sit in the boat fishing. Looked funny as all get out but he caught fish.

I know that where you may fish on the ice is really good before you can walk on it.
Feels so nice doing it through the ice

Maybe the wind will be the right direction to push us back to the ramp!  Maybe we can take the 200 off the ranger and bolt it on the back to give us a little 'push'.   :roflmao:
