Crappies in Seneca Lake? (Mohawk/ Keweenaw County)

Heard from a family member in that area  that they caught a crappie in Seneca lake out in Mohawk. Anyone fished in there before? When I lived there it was all tiny perch and sunfish. A few nice bass on the other side of the pond.
