Anyone else absolutely disgusted with the huge raise in gas prices???

Count me in that group, but I use diesel for travel and saw $4.00 gal. today in Spokane, Washington, as well as Post Falls, Idaho ( at a Flyin' J yet).

Absolutely.  At least it didn't start to go way up until near the end of the season.

I'm not happy, went to Kalispell two weekends in a row for the perch assault and it cost me almost 600 bucks in just deisel. Couldn't believe it. Was going to head east this month but not sure if I want to now..

I have a jar of Vaseline in the truck for when I stop for fuel.
With all the oil underground in this state this is just stupidity.

It jumped a lot here in Lewistown.  Luckily there are a few ponds close to keep me entertained but this summer is going to suck.  I had planned on buying a boat so I could do some serious fishing on the larger reservoirs.  Now it looks like I won't be able to afford the fuel if I bought one.

     i wanted to come out and fish with ya guys, our season is over . ( northern ohio )   now this deal with gas prices shoots that in the a$$    ooh well wait for ice out, then the walleye run.

I drive 1200 miles every other weekend and the diesel prices are insane right now. I have a diesel car that gets between 40mpg and 50mpg depending on what I am doing but it costs me a ton more to make the drive than it did even a year ago.

even thinking of breaking it out in a week or two

I've got a two man cataraft sitting at a friend's place in Oregon, I really should haul it over here one day but we have a canoe here and that is what I do 99% of my summer fishing from.

I'm buying a boat this year and am totally pissed about what they're saying gas prices are going to be.  It's not bad yet, but when the gas starts hitting around $4.00 a gallon, it' going to make a $50.00 fishing trip $100.00.  That totally sucks and is really not necessary.........
