Flu-Flus for Trout?
« on: Jan 18, 2005, 06:39 PM »
I came across a bunch of flu-flus and am wondering if they are any good for trout. For those of you who don't know they are a small jig head dressed with a little bit of fine feather-like hair. Has anyone used them with any success for trout? I was thinking of tipping them with a mealworm or a small minnow. They also look like they would work great for crappie...Thanks

Any small jig with hair or plastic is dynamite for trout or panfish tipped with a mealie or other small bait. Best all around  trout lures usually, because you can use them for both aggressive and turned off trout.

Politically incorrect, and proud of it.
