headed up you guys way ice fishing this weekend . is there any bait shops coming off 89 in new london on rt 11 or rt 4 headed toward enfield? thanks.

If you get off 89 around Georges Mills, there's a place in Sunapee and also a place in Newport.  Could be a bit out of your way though...are you going to Mascoma?  Headed to Enfield?  If so, as about that area...must be something there.

i am not sure if i'm gonna try mascoma. only if the smelts are bitting. had a great time there a couple years ago catching smelts , browns and smallies. gonna probally hit a trout pond in the area.

there is a new bait shop in newbury harbor that opened this years.  its in the little plaza across from the docks.  i dont know anything about them. a co-worker saw the sigh and ask me about it.

the tackle shack in Newbury harbor or there is a little store in Sutton on rt 114 that has live bait

take clinton st. exit #2. left off ramp. take left at blinking light. follow signs . you'll see lewis st on left. come to old snomachine boneyard. they have what you need, smelt, shiners , suckers

thanks guys. went friday and got a nice 2 lb  brookie and a brown. got pics but can't figure out how to post em on this site.
