AquaVu Camera Camoflage
« on: Jan 09, 2005, 11:26 PM »
I typically use my AquaVu camera in a vertical position meaning the camera is pointing down. I noticed that this year AquaVu decided to make the camera look like a fish so fish would not spook if they see it. I am thinking of using weeds rubber banded to the camera to hide it. Has anyone thought about or tried this?

You can actually buy fake weeds from aqua-view

Interesting... I don't see weeds listed on the AquaVU site's accessory page.  But I don't see any reason why plastic plants from a pet shop for a fish tank wouldn't work either.

I really doubt that it's neccesary. We use an Aqua View all the time and the fish swin right around it with out really appearing to notice it even when we move it around. my .02
