Great day at Sloans!!!

Fished sloans from 1-5 and ended up with well over 50 perch 15 or so trout and a few other gills and crappie mixed in. 9' or so of water green jig and wax worms did the trick ;D Kept 8 for my wife's cousin. Some of the perch were chunks like the one by the pringles can, caught about 10 that size :tipup:

Gills were in 9' (one of the deeper holes in the lake)I threw up the hut mid way down the bank out from the reeds drilled two holes and started doing this :icefish: :thumbsup:

sry dirty best fishing was 2-5 or so I had a lot of dead time when I first got there then it got hot tell just about 5 i guess @)

Wow...great day for sure!!!  Sloans has been slow for me so far this year - been out 4 times since New Years.  Always hitting the prime afternoon hours until dusk.  Reading the posts, was thinking about trying Absaraka next time (which was real slow last year).  Maybe things are finally starting to pick up??

Hey Taz this is Worm01 met you yesterday at the gas station. Was good to meet another Shanty member. Should hook up one of these days and go fishing.
