Poor, Poor, Pitiful Me

[The Rocket]

As the evening of January 3rd came to a close, I knew that this would be a great week.
As I awoke early on the 4th, My eyes were greeted with snow! and very cold temps!
I ran out to the Keg as fast as I could, and she was covered with snow!
So I ran into the house, and grabbed a push broom.

As you can see, it was an all out blizzard!!!

And then came this morning.
The first ever game at The Keg with Terri Clark sponsors at Fearless Field.
And like all professional rinks, this one comes complete with corn stalks frozen in the ice


My Brother Robert and I hit the ice early.
Here's the Rocket making a great save sliding across to the post


And sadly A goal against. On a great jink that moved my 5 hole open


But, I had to reach way down inside, and made another awe inspiring save here with the glove


And yours truly awaiting a slapper up high, standing tall to make the save


And finally, the best of all. After all of the saves, all of the goals, nothing is better than this!

Better than the NHL? Maybe not. But there was a lot of fun happening here!.
All I ever wanted was right here, but I had to reach way down inside.
