Chemo Pond Crappies
« on: Feb 05, 2011, 05:32 AM »
It's confirmed. The biologist said they started showing up about three years ago. There were none prior to '07.
They apparently migrated down from the ponds upstream. That looks like as far easterly as they go. I doubt I'll try it this year.

Can't believe the biologists I guess.. They electro fished it in '07. Glad to hear they've been there!!! Thought we might have to wait for a pop to grow. Never fished chemo. Makes sense as they have been in the upstream ponds for a while.

They came from Davis pond, along with largemouths.  Not a good thing for Chemo.  It is a really fun lake to catch smallmouths on.
