Been doing well with Northland Forage Minnows tipped with either waxies or mousies.  No real favorite color as they all seem to work well...
Not even the big ones get away!

European glass jigs with a fake diamond in it. red worked best last yr, but doing better with gold or green this yr.

you can tie the bibbett;use a banana lead jig[netcraft sells them and others]i tie in both sizes,8's and 10'
i paint the lead jig with nail polish i like white body with black thread or chartreuse body with red thread
now just before the nail polish drys start to put on the thread, go slow the polish will hold the thread in
place the thread makes the body look like it has segments[like bugs] also leave a little thread at both ends
this will look like the terminal brush and the antenal hairs like some of the zooplankton has

fenwack hates jig a whoppers but buys them because he knows they out fish him 10 to 1
and another jig (rapala) has made him spend more of his money since fishing with me and percheyes42 ;D
pretty soon you will just leave your jigs home and use mine im sure :roflmao: :roflmao: :woot:
