Laker Tips

I hear that laker fishin is goin to start to heat up on Ft. Peck(i heard it here first). Whats the tips? I have never fished for lakers anywhere but Flathead, open water. Any and all tips will be appreciated.

Oh fear not fellow icefisher, i wont be ignoring Walleye, Pike, Perch or anything else. I figure knowledge is power.....fishin power. Why not find out how to get a laker if im in the area? I have to say I will be targeting a specific fish while Im there though, the ones that are biting, those are the best kind. ;D
