I spent the afternoon finishing my ice shack. I ended up spending a lot more time and money than I thought I would have to, but it will be worth it to be warm and comfy. Even with a lot of scrounging I spent 150-175 bucks. I have pics, but they need to be compressed and I ain't havin' a whole lot of luck in that little endeavor. I need to get a little more educated about that before I waste any more time on it, and the pics are sitting in Sharemation sized at 1600 pixels and 300-400KB, so until I know how to get them to your suggested 400 pixels and 60KB you will have to use your imagination...you ain't missin' much as she ain't much for looks but is MIGHTY practical.
Next week if the ice at Brewer lake is looking ok I may try to get 'er dragged out there. That is going to be accomplished by getting to the parking lot by the landing using my brother's trailer, and then waving successively larger bills around until someone is willing to drag it out to the deep water for me.
My one time plan to haul it out in pieces and assemble it there is a really bad idea. Now that I have put it together and seen what it takes I can't picture going that route unless the shack is very, very simple.
