My World is upside down!

This has been the strangest pre-season for me, as it has changed my mind on many suppliers and equipment options..

It started with selling my beloved aqua-vu for a marcum camera. As a Vex guy it was hard for me to add a marcum to my equipment list. but I could not help it, the marcum camera was far superior to my Aqu-vu SV100.

As a Clam guy (blue suit and fish trap guide) I was hesitant to crown the new frabill suit "the next big thing" but I got to look at it up close and personal this past weekend and I have to say they have made some huge improvements, the quality appears top notch and added features such as hand warmers in the jacket and bibs was brilliant.

After I saw the suit, I had to check in on the Frabill portables...my Clam Guide is in great shape and Im no where near buying a new portable, but this thing had me sold, the thick tub, the stronger polls, removable windows, more vents, a drape for the tub to keep out the wind, and the quick store seats.. this thing looks like it is worth every penny... Nice job frabill, if I was buying a new portable today, you have my vote.. ( i bought the Frabill task gloves and they are way better then my Ice armour gloves)


So yes, my world is turned upside down.. whats next trade my Vex for a showdown... Lol thats to funny to even think about..

This day in age you can't be married to any one brand. Its more about the most for your hard earned dollar,dependability,and good customer service shall you need it. Too many companies cutting corners to make an extra nickel instead of taking pride in there product and caring about there customer base.

Were you able to look at the snosuit task glove too? This is the one purchase that I have been holding off on unti l heard a few reviews.

Yep I tired one on, but the saleman told me the only difference between the snow suit and the Frabill is that the snowsuit is not water proof. So I bought the Frabill

Can you share your thoughts on the Marcum camera?  I was going to be in the market soon and was looking at the colored one last year...(too much for my budget).

I bought the 625 camera, I did not feel the need to spend the extra cash for a larger screen, but having the B&W and color screen was a great.

Frabill is a really great company for quality and price. Can't really go wrong. I bought the frabill guardian over the clams in that range because of the quality/feature difference.
