Fished Winni for the first time ever thru the ice! got out there around noon and after a couple hours found some fish at 30' deep with the fish finder. problem was they would swim from the bottom to about 15' look at the lure for a little bit then swim away, this happened quite a bit at different depths. then put a smelt down there and it didn't get touched. kept trying until about 4:45 when I got too cold. the ice was about 4" thick, did a lot of checking with the spud. gonna try again tmro at Meredith Bay.
