Tip Ups in the Western Basin

How come you don't see too many people using tip ups around south bass and area??? I've seen a lot of them jigging but can't remember any using tips!!! ???  ???  ??? :tipup: any thoughts on this!!! looks like a big chub dangling down there is what ole Mr walleye would thrive on or fat shinner also ;D

  I've noticed the same thing and have no idea why.  I bought 3 this year and I'm going to give it a try and let you know how it goes.

;D the other old man that has some tipups out there will be me drop by and say howdy maybe I'll have the coffee pot on Will be fishing starve and Perry if the ice get going if not marina's

 i used tip-ups there last year we didn't get any walleye on them but we did get some nice perch on em 
       it was a nice filler between the eyes
