As some of you may know, there is a limited spearing season in Wisconsin for Lake Sturgeon. I've been wanting to do this for years, and this year I'm gonna do it.
I picked up my spear from a local guy who makes these things. I know the picture it worthless, but here's what I can tell you.
Head is 12" wide.
Tines are 10" long, and removable.
Barbs are retractable, or "flying barbs" as they are called around here.
Head is Stainless steel - painted to lessen glare.
The entire spear head is removable from the handle. Handle isn't shown, but it's about 6'-6" long.
