Cook's Bay Perchin...or another choice?
« on: Jan 24, 2011, 11:48 PM »
Hey guys lookin for a little help with fishing this beast. This is my second go for this place. I have gone out of Gilford and will do the same next Saturday.  Ok So here is the issue I caught lots of perch. But out of the 75-100 most were in the 5-7" range ???. I kept 7 (8-11") and I would say 3-4 were still iffy. I have read that I should go bigger and get away from people. But from everything I have read from this year and the pics or videos I have seen they all tend to be on the small side. I have seen buckets of perch but all in the 5-7" range. Is this common? Or is it possible to get the numbers but bigger fish too on the bay? Also is there another lake around the Bradford area that is good fishing as well? I am not lookin for you to show me where your honey hole is,  just the GPS coords would be great ;D. JK. But a place close to Bradford that is ez to get to and has public access with some bigger perch maybe some big gills and maybe some walleye would be nice. I know its alot to ask for so anything would be nice. New to fishin these parts so any info would be greatly appreciated :)
Thanks
BB
