Tried to search the forum about this, but came up empty.

Anyway, my x67c is working great, except for the fact that the depth overlay in the upper left sometimes shows the incorrect depth. I will start out in 12-14 FOW, and it shows properly on the chart/flasher view, but the overlay depth would show 2-3 FOW. Sometimes pulling the transducer out of the water and placing it back in resets it, but sometimes it doesn't.

It's not a huge deal, since the chart/flasher views are working fine, marking the lake bottom, tracking fish, and tracking my jig (and its swivel). I was showing it off to some friends, and it did not bode well that it showed 2 FOW when we were in 12 FOW. Ice was 10" thick, and the transducer was completely beneath the ice. I have everything on the x67c in manual mode.

Anyone else experience this? Any known resolutions?

Thanks in advance.

Manually set your upper limit to 2 foot below the ice and the lower limit a foot or so BELOW the actual bottom depth........that'll do it.......

Thanks! I will make that change this weekend when I get back on the ice.

yep make sure you set your depth manually. Also make sure that auto depth and auto sensitivy are off. Mine occasonally does this but every time removing the ducer and then putting it back has worked .
