Good year for cameras
« on: Jan 03, 2011, 01:13 PM »
If you have a camera, use it.  The water is super clear everywhere I have been.  Interesting how many fish are there that are not active.  Sort of funny to look down the hole in 30 fow and see your jig and a fish hitting it.  I think my cam can see about 30' feet out right now, so if you have them use them because they are a great tool for quick checking on a spot.  Sometimes I get stuck on my vex too much, but the camera always shows what is there and a much larger area too.  Good Luck!

I love my camera except when you can see all the fish just ignoring your stuff!

what kind of camera? I used to use the cheap fish tv and that worked when that was all I had, I got a panning cabelas camera with a remote for Christmas that tells you the direction it is facing and turns 360 by remote, I think it is probably just as good of a tool as the showdown.
