Polaris 550 IQ XLT
« on: Nov 30, 2011, 05:18 PM »
Anyone ever own or use one on the ice? Looking at a new 2011, just wanted any input I could get before I sign the line. Really wanted a four stroke 20" track, but I don't have the cash flow for it. I'll be using it for two people and towing a sled. Sounds like it should do alright for under $7k out the door new.

I'm currently icefishing with a 97 Polaris Indy Lite GT 2up 340fan.  If I was looking new,  I'd be looking at the bearcat 570 xlt. or T570.
I'll wait for the SkiDoo Ace600 to prove itself.  I may be looking at one of those in a few years used.

I've got it home. Seems like it should do everything I want it to. Just need some snow to run the excess oiled ten gallons of gas through. One more week of deer season left, so after that would work just fine.
