New Toy...Marcum 825sd
« on: Jan 22, 2011, 12:09 PM »
I am the proud new owner of this toy.  Wanted to know if anyone has seen it in action and their thoughts...

Hitting the Larry soon for walleye, think its going to be pretty cool. ;)

Cheers,

Al.

I've been using mine for two weeks now, cant say I am catching more perch that sight fishing,  but its pretty educational, also had a couple of pike nose into the picture and scare the bejeepers out of me, wouldn't usually see them looking through a four inch hole.  Was in deeper water today and didn't even try it as the x67 was dialed into the perch just fine.  Looking forward to getting out in the trout grounds and trying it, not enough ice for me out there yet.  Just when I though I had everything, they came along with this.

The panner unit works very well too, have seen my partner struggle turning wires over the years by hand.

You are right...It is cool.  Had time to try it out today in a 200 gal. fish tank.

It is as clear as day. I know it was 800.00 but for me it was worth it now that I have seen it.
