We've come a long way...

At the close of the year, I'm looking back on how far this site has come. From the humble beginning of this site to the enormous fishing resource Iceshanty.com is today, is really quite amazing. Heck, we've even got our own clothing line! (Maybe next year we can get a Bigredonice plush toy.... :P)  But really, the sponsors, the enormous core of contributing members, and the new members we're getting all the time, all I can say is WOW! So I just want to send out huge thank you to everyone who's helped this site get off the ground and

here here!!well said pasquatch!!it has been a great year overall and look forward to another year on the shanty but fear what my wife will say if she ever sees my post count!! :D shell say you never talk to me ,wah wah wah  LOL jk honey!!

well im just new to this site...hopefully i and more like me make the counter go up on site hits....but besides that great site...just wish there were more pics of peoples shanties...need some ideas if i decide to do something different with mine.  :)

Just want to add my congrats to everyone who makes this site possible.I can't believe how it's grown,it used to be, when I logged on there were 4 or 5 users online , now there is well over 100 anytime I'm on here --just goes to show  what a great site it is. Here's wishing all of you a happy New Year.

just think thats like 1% of our members here just imagine what it would be like if we had 10 % of them here at once youd never keep up but that would be a good thing i guess
