You'd like to know, I'd like to know, aceinthehole would like to know...... I guess nobody's been. Hey ace, quit working long enough and go check it out for the rest of us! Maybe I'll go with you.  ;)

was there last week....caught 5 pike in about 4 hours lost several others... they were biting real soft and with not much fight, might be a sign of winter kill coming. always catch small pike here, only negative is that the fish taste like "lake"

Thanks for the report, bowhunter. Say, how thick is the ice? Can aceinthehole drive on with a 3/4 ton Dodge 4x4? If he'd get caught up on his work, we might be able to check it out in a week or so.

If the fish are biting soft and fighting soft I would suspect they are just going through a low period like most other fish do. An underwater camera is a great investment....a great learning tool. Its funny what a few days from now will show. They will be slammin ya so hard you wont know what hit ya.Just my two cents worth..for what its worth.
I dont suggest driving on any lake with a dodge havingfun....LOL..now a chevy..thats a totally different story.LOL

chevs don't rust toyotas do. Dodges transmission fall out at the first sign of work. Ford diesels don't start when you walk by them with an ice cream cone.

Went out today. That wind was nasty. Fished for about 3 hours in 10 fow. Had at least 20 pike on the camera just sitting there watching our offerings. The odd one would bump the jig with their nose but not a one of them would take the bait. Talked to the people next to us and they had the same story to tell. Very entertaining day nonetheless.

Hey YBone....that was us in the blue Clam shelter next to you. Yes, it was fun to see the fish on the camera, as we just started enjoying the whole underwater cam experience, but on the same note very frustrating that the fish would just bump your smelt. Tight lines everyone!   :)
