Mogadore Report 12/26

[Big Daddy]

First trip out this season. Hopefully, won't be the last. Between two of us, picked up 18 gills, 1 perch, and one real nice crappie. 10 of the gills went back.

There was a good, solid 4-4 1/2 inches of ice off Congress Lake Rd. Did not check anywhere else. The cold nights will keep it going.

I'll be out again this coming Sunday, then at least two days the following week, as I go to second shift. YES!

    You turn up just about everywhere, don't you?

    I'll probably be heading to Mogadore on Tuesday.  Thanks for the report. maybe I'll see you out there.

Hey Wes. Yeah, anywhere there's any talk of ice fishing and I'll probably stick my head in.

The fish were hitting pretty light and didn't want a whole lot of movement to the bait. Hope you get into them out there. They hit pretty well from 11AM til 12:30, then again from 2:30 til 4:30. Didn't get out of bed early enough to get the sunrise bite.

I'll probably be out there Sunday, maybe Saturday too, depends on how late I stay up New Years Eve...
