If it helps any, I have the Humminbird 1ce-45  Its the first flasher I've ever owned and it's worked great so far.

have you used the tryed using the search option
search under icefishing with electronics you will get
about 10 pages of topics to brows through
probably be able to find all the info you want and more

I have the 55 and LOVE it. It's my first flasher and I can't believe I fished all these years without one...
