Well, that raises a good question. Based on the derby literature it appears we could use the state ramp in Broadalbin, is there an access point closer to, or at, Lanzis? I don't mind paying a little if it's a convenient spot, with 1500+ people on the ice it must be a zoo at the launches, that's partly why I want to try it in advance. Is there anywhere else that would be a good access point? We have ATVs so a couple mile ride is no big deal.

Lanzis will be packed, almost impossible to get out of there after the drawings.  I go out from my house but there is a parking lot near my me that doesn't get too busy.  It is only about 2 miles down ice from Lanzis. I will PM you.

sounds like a good spot to set up Booker, what do you think?  my 2 shantys and aarons shanty about 150 yards off the island, spread em right out!  as long as you and aaron can find ur way there.

SS, better check with the "owners" of that area before setting up. Not everyone is welcome there without getting permission.
