Bad Weather

so yesterday, Was my first trip out this year. Me and my brother sat out from sunrise to sunset, and only saw one fish. It was pretty warm and windy yesterday, and rained for part of the day. so when we left, there was about an inch of water on top, and we have about 9 inches of ice. I woke up this morning, looked outside, and THERES NO SNOW!The foot of snow we had, melted over night. So im really hoping when i go to my shanty in half an hour, it will still be there. im gonna sit today if the ice isnt too bad, and then probably pull er off the ice til stuff gets cold again.. anyone else havin bad weather?

Bad weather here we haven't had much snow at all but he have 1inch of standing water on the lake Kalamazoo area.

Yeah im in Arcadia, around Traverse city. The wind is whats making it hard, we cant make any ice. winds blowin like 20 outside.. besides that,, with this melt, visibility SUCKS!

just got back, didn't see a thing. We pulled it  to shore until we get colder weather again

Well I left the shack out.  Put it up on blocks of wood and hope for the best.  It is going to have to melt a lot of ice tomorrow for the shack to sink.  There was a clown out there driving a car while I was sitting tonight. So I figured if he didn't sink then there will be enough ice to get the shack through until it locks back up Saturday night;)
