its awesome in the summer but whole north end of the lake doesn't freeze.  if they get ice weather through the winter guys bring their boats out.  One guy told me he gets his boat out in march and hammers walleye.

Know people who fished mainprize last winter, not good!  hear boundary is excelent for bass and walleye in march, off shore near the dam (open water).

heard the same thing and only able to catch bass on the smallest of yellow five of diamond spoons.  Just what I've heard.  I tried and I failed.  I'll stick to my eyes.

crankbaits are your best bet. hammer the big bass and the eyes
