Anyone know of a good brook trout lake within a 3 hour drive from boise? dont need road access, but snowmobile access would be nice...

Bulltrout Lake has a bunch...  If you can make it in, the Seafoam Lakes are loaded.

so today is my last day of work until the 3rd! Doing the following for sure
23rd: horsethief with a possible stop at cascade on the way back for a couple hours of perch hunting
27th: I'll give bull trout a try
29th: cascade
1st: mccall area
2nd: cascade

Not bad right?

HEY!!!  Don't forget some descent-sized jigging spoons and probably some shiner heads!  I used to hike into that lake during the spring and nail ATLANTIC SALMON on the fly rod.  Got those right at the inlet in the open water so you might want to grab a summer rod and give it a cast or two.
