went out to Borie today, caught 12 pike 2-3 pounds and ice was 9" thick.  Good to start to the season.

That lake is always good for fast pike action, nothing big though. Any sign of perch at all, heard varying reports of the odd jumbo coming out of there, but I've never found them.

How far out did you go? Im just wondering if a guy can get a quad or sled around the whole lake.  We've fished there many times and have caught a totoal of 2 perch, always good for some hammer handles for the smoker though.
