Jigging spoons

Ive been using jiggin spoons for as long as ive been icefishing, my question is who uses the little colored paddles with their pimples and the feathered tassels with their kastmasters? Notice any difference from using them or a certain colored one overall?

i use the red piece on my swedish pimple or none at all. i never tried the yellow one. and i just use my kastmasters plain with a minnow.

Weird thing about ice fishing is sometimes, you do better without them.  Go plain all metal.

i use the red flappers on my pimples. The yellow ones go in the trash.

The red one comes attached, so I use them more than not. I do have a couple Pimples with the yellow tag, but I have NO idea if the difference matters.
