I dream all year around about casting my line out and then putting my rod in the holder that is just outside the door of my beach house on a south sea island. Then I deal with reality and hit the soft and hard water where I live. All last winter I wondered what it would be like to find a lake that didn't have 24" of ice on it. I would rather stay home than spend the whole day digging myself out. Maybe it's just old age.

I dream of winning megabucks and spending months buying every different kind of ice fishing gear I ever wanted and
then going icefishing at all the different places that I always wanted to fish ! Just one problem, every time I have
this dream, I wake up in a cold sweat because I can't make up my mind on what gear to take and which lake I should fish first !

I like bass fishing, bow hunting, muzzle loader season, so a little of that.  I like studying  books on ice fishing (you can always pick up something).  Scouting the area lakes  (10 acres to 2000 acres), lake maps, and general early, middle, late season attack depending on species.

Customizing equipment is a gas too.

last night i literaly had a dream, that i was ice fishing. i pulled a thirty pound pike  through the ice. i had her hooked right betwen her eyes hahaha, weird. but i usually dream of a new auger (lately), and just being out there standing around the shack on a decent day ( you know, 10 below) with my fishing partners.
