Otter Pro Small Cottage
« on: Aug 21, 2010, 05:09 PM »
I'm thinking about a bigger one man flipover than my Scout for this year. The Otter Pro Small Cottage has the most room it seems, for a one man. The ice camo fabric is nice looking also. Anybody have one of these? How do you like it?   I'm not concerned with the extra weight.

I have the Otter Den which uses the small sled instead of the small UW sled which is 6" wider. Its a very well built house. I like clams fabric better but the sled and poles on the Otter more than offsets the difference in material. It will not pull easy by hand but up in SD thats probably doesn't really matter. I would go for it.

Thanks. I think it rocks that I can get on this ice fishing website in August and ask a question and get a response on the same day!  And yes, it doesn't matter about pulling a heavy sled up here, but it does in the first couple of weeks when it's too thin to drive my Tahoe on.

I was pulling my loaded Den through well over 20" of snow last season. That was not fun at all. Hopefully more ice less snow this coming season.
