Yes it's that time of year!

No not another post about the ice fishing season being over.
It's just starting to heat up. What a great time of year to be out ice fishing.
I caught these crappies last weekend, The biggest was 13" the smallest was 9"
I caught most of them on a small jig and waxies, and a few on a tip down and small crappie minnow. The next few weeks are going to be some of the most fun ice fishing of the year.

It's not always fun living where it is cold so long, but the late ice fishing is great. I'm still driving my F150 4x4 out to my shack. But we have to pull the permenants off the ice Sunday.
