Perch are still on!

Got out on the ice at about 12:30, ended up with 27 good ones! All fish were caught in 10-13fow on #12 black/chartreuse moonglitter tipped with 1or2 spikes.

Thanks guys!  This year is the best I have ever seen the perch fishin on this lake. Years past you might get a few mixed in with the gill and crappie bite. Now I can hardly catch a gill or crappie but the perch are on fire. I bet we caught 60 today ranging from 5-10.5 inches.

Today was another good day, kept 25, same color jig and depth.




JT, Ill pm ya if I can get wed off, but its normally a pretty busy day for me, so odds are not very good.

Thanks JP! Next year prolly wont be nothin like this year for the perch. It has been a blast! I think the fish gods are rewarding me for all the hard work tryin to get a good gill bite that never really happened...well I guess turkey lake first ice was not too bad, but those are just cleaners.

Well they are slowing down or movin shallower... I got out from 3 til 6:30, kept 7. I could only catch 5-6 inch perch on my jig, so I switched to a pimple and managed a few. Time for the softwater!
