Me and a couple buddys are headed up tomorrow night for the weekend, anybody been out there or here anything on it? I seen there was 5 shacks out on Alder bay wednesday night, and heard there was 6-8" of ice in front of perkins park!

Really good ice up there 6-8" everywhere we went! Fishing sucked though, my buddy caught 1 small pike on a tip up, talked to a bunch of people and they were saying the fishing has been really slow up there so far this year!

Hey guys, Now that the season is almost over did anybody do any good on this lake this season? Just curious. I'm a long ways away from there, but would like to get back there someday...( Actually born & raised in the thumb area) ( Like to keep all my options open, HaHaHa)  Thanks  RDO
Ps. Also is this the lake for the state record perch or is it from the other lake independance down in the southeast part of Mi. Also just curious...

This is the lake of the state record perch and I'd love to find a picture of that thing! I'm thinking about heading out there after pike and walleye season closes and going after some perch. From the sounds of it the fishing was really slow out there but maybe it'll pick up with all this warm weather.
