I hit lake Iroquios once, and caught a bunch of small perch.  I had something pretty big hit my line, but didn't catch it.  I wouldn't bother trying there for northerns.

I grew up Ice fishing Monkton and Bristol pond. Monkton is a great pond if you like chasing flags, tons of 20" northerns and big Largemouth. Straight off the access and to the left, stay close to shore is a good spot or go all the way to the north end. Bristol pond is the same way with northerns and bass, there use to be pretty decent perch in there. You need to be a little more wary of Bristol pond, they say that there is alot of springs. We used to always fish in the channel or just outside of it. Good Luck!

I'm thinking of going to Bristol or Monkton this weekend, just for something different.  I have been told that they have Crappie in them as well.  Is there any truth to that?  Goose

Oh there in Bristol pond too, although I have never fished for them there through the ice cause all those springs in that shallow of water.... I should really give it a try though. I've got a good idea where they'd hang out.... [/b]

I've caught crappie in Bristol pond during the summer.  I thought about going for northerns there through the ice but I have only caught small fish there during the summer months.  I
