Got out today for the first time this year.
« on: Feb 08, 2010, 03:11 PM »
Took a ride up to Keeler Bay. Walked out a bit puched a hole. Water was only 4 feet deep. Got 6 perch right off. Then hole went dead. Went out some more and puched a few more holes looking for deeper water. Ended the day with about 25 perch. Nothing big the normal Champlain perch. Bit windy out there......jim s

we were off grand isle state park just a little up the line from you.  9 smallish perch in 3 hours of fishing/moving.  I'm getting the impression things are slow all over champlain.  maybe it'll heat up in a couple of weeks when they finally get hungry

The employment of effort, hard work, time, and energy put in locating fish will offend noone.
