Been fishing Findley State and have had success using waxies and tear drops.

The gills are small but active and can sort a few that stink up the fry pan.

Waxies been working good for the gills and crappies but the bass aren't attacking it like i thought.  The green teardrop Ive been using has been working good also.

If you want bass try a small spoon especialyl white or chrome with half of a whole waxxie on a sunny day..  or any day if you can't pick and choose...   Or a decent sized (size 8-10 hook ) horizontal hanging jig with half or whole waxxie (half a waxie doesnt' last long but puts out more scent...  stuff floats away from it every time you jig it)  I  have had my best day for bass doing that  They bite on cluody days but the one lake I used to fish when crazy on the sunny days.   The bass were very active

Fished Findley State Park today.
Water stained and the bite was slow and small.
Caught 18 gills and sorted 9, but at least it was something on the ice.
