Anybody have any knowledge they care to share?

Gonna be up there for weekend visiting. Figure I might as well get the hook wet.
Thanks

and 5 posts has been reached....

Specifically I'm looking for a depth map. FW, and anglers atlas don't feature a depth map. I'm thinking it's cause the lakes level fluctuates so much. Also...packing a rifle...I never thought of that one.

Williston is such a huge lake but I know it fairly well.  One of the better places you can go ice fishing is to drive up the east side of Williston from Mackenzie approx. 55-60 km (until you cross the bridge at the narrows) .... park your vehicle and stroll up and down along that area and start drilling holes.  You'll see evidence from people ice fishing there.    Great fishing there.

I've heard the same thing but i thought it was only about 35 km to the bridge? could be wrong its been a long time since ive been up that way. Drill some holes till you find a spot right on the edge of the current from the river and you should be golden. I might have to head up there soon
