I am in the market for a underwater camera and have found a few cheaper cost ones with good price but now I hear Aqua Vu and Fish TV went under?
Aqua Vu was a division of Nature Vision, and Nature Vision also owned Fish TV, Nature Vision just recently went out of business. The Aqua-Vu portion of the business was purchased by a company called Outdoor Insights located in Cross Lake, MN. The Fish TV portion that was owned by Nature Vision is probably just plain out of business and that is why they are selling so cheap right now. From what I read in another post unfortunately anyone with an existing Aqua-Vu no longer has a warranty, because they were voided out when Nature Vision went under? But I guess parts are still available. So now what? Look to buy the newer model coming out by Outdoor Insights? I also read where they sold off Marcum to Versa electronics. Makes me nervous to buy any existing or older model now.
