Went to Carmi yesterday for the first time with some friends who had fished there before. We got there by 5am and setup south of the park launch. Brutally cold and windy but we still managed 8 walleye, 6 MONSTER perch and a broke off a northern that wouldn't fit in a 8" hole. All the walleye were either just under the 15" mark or in the 17-19" slot. 2 walleye on a jig rod and the rest on tip-ups. Fishing shut right off at 10am. Plan on heading back up soon to pull an all nighter.
