Bringing home the catch
« on: Jan 25, 2010, 10:12 PM »

This is one thing I enjoy most about Ice fishing....Bringing home the catch for the little ones to see and help clean..
"Oh honey don't worry ice fishing season is almost over"     Oh Yeah, then we got steelhead, then bass, then big lake salmon, then fall river salmon........etc.
"As fish go through the water colume, so do the days of our lives".

My daughter looks about the same age as yours, she always gets up on the barstool and hands me the fish out of the sink, its funny watching her try and grab ahold of them without getting poked, but if she does she goes right back after them.  She loves looking at my spikes/waxies too.

Wish I could find some gills like that up here. I'm sick of all these dinky perch. My boys have more fun playing in the bait bucket than trying to catch fish.
