walleye bait

i started fishing for walleye these past few years and love it. i usually use emeralds or a big shiner and have pretty good luck, but i dont know if theres something out there that drives them crazy. any ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks

If you have a good place to go for walleyes let me know and i will meet you there.I'm 50 years old and have been fishing for them since I was 5.I have learned allot in those 45 years.The trouble is now all the walleyes are fished out.I do have a couple pet places on Champlain i still like to fish but when there not getting them there they aren't getting them anywhere south of the bridge.You might get a fluke every now or then but thats it.
