wasnt that bad the other day ............    heading out in morning to beat the wind as long as it isnt gusting to 70 in the morning. I am sure the lake will be packed down like a son of a gun and never know this wet snow may make it smoother driving for the first km out on the rough ice

on the east side driving almost seemed better today, almost like the rain and wet snow packed everything down, it was getting bad on thursday, not sure what its gonna be like after it freezes come monday

It was nice to see the C.O.'s with a check stop set up on the dike today. Keeps everyone honest. I do think they should be patrolling the lake more as there was beer bottles, and tims cups everywhere. we stopped and picked up 5 beer bottles and 3 tims cup and a juice container. what the hell is wrong with people. Those are the same people who would b@#ch and complain when there is garbage floating on the beach while they were swimming there. Some people dont learn .  >:(The fine for littering should be min $5000.00
