Was up there last night.  Only caught 38. For some reason they quit biting at around 9:30PM.  Stayed till 11:00 and then quit.  The ice is fine. Don't know where you could park to put a ATV on the ice.  Didn't see any out there.

There is 5-6" on the South Bay with limited parking and no where to launch a quad that I know of. The rest of the lake,as I was told today, has about 3" on it. Boat launch on north end is best place to get on with quad but not enough ice yet. Could be a couple weeks with the warmer weather coming.

If you are fishing the south bays you dont need a quad, the walk is pretty short and the path is well beaten down.

Once the ice forms on the rest of the lake I am out of the bay and never go back. Until first ice the next year.

You must really have the right set up.......I am a rookie at this and usually miss 3 times as much as I hook. I need a lesson.  That is pretty darn good catching 130 between dusk and 9:00.....WTG

He has the perfect set up...a 2X4 foot hole and a net ;D...Actually,dgb spends a lot of time "perfecting his craft" as I've seen him in action...and his lessons don't come cheap ;)
