chain lakes (east of ponoka)

just wondering if anybody fished these lakes tried the third one thurs for 3 hrs and slow slow    went into the 2nd one which is usually awesome but didnt fish needed chains to crawl back up the hill   anybody know any other access then the lacombe f and w site?

So that was you who chewed up the hill...lol   I kinda wondered.  Went yesterday, got one little hammer handle.  I had to use chains to get out as well.  I don't think there is any other access to the second lake, unless you go in on a sled, then you could come on to it off the first lake.  How was the access on the third lake?

yup that was me the old f350 was barkin pretty good haha   but it wasnt too bad    if you got down and up it should be a little easier next time     as far as the third lake the access was plowed and i measured between 13 and 18 inches

It wasn't too bad, really the worst part is the little switchback, you chewed that pretty well.  The rest was frozen pretty good, and my little toyota stayed on top of your tracks easily.  Ice was good on #2, it would be around 18" or so.
