Met up w/ fellow Shanty member Bostoned this am and had a blast. I love meeting/fishing with new people and I can honestly say I've yet to meet an I.S. member who was not really cool. Fishing was on fire as well. Bostoned out-fished me 3-1. Here are a couple of pics from today.

here is bostoned with a nice pic

here is a non shanty member w/the fish of the day. a massive salmon :o

we also talked to an angler who landed a 6+lb bass and a 4+ lb brown trout(off point breeze)

a day I will not soon forget. I also did not have a radio so I did not have to hear the bomb go off in foxboro

Yeah, It was a blast.  Met up with Jonserfish1 a little later than I wanted too but as soon as I started putting in my traps the flags started flying.  We caught a bunch of fish.  I had one bass that we didn't get a pick of that had to go 4-5lbs, it was a hog.  The chain pickeral that we caught all had huge bellys.  They must have been gorging themselves.  All in all a good and busy day.

I had one of my arctic warriors set up and caught a fish or two on it.  Had one that was pulling the rod down like it was a 10lber so I go running over (without my stabilicers) before the rod goes down the hole and slip fall and grab the rod as it's falling out the arctic warrior.  What a mess!  I'm just glad there were no video cameras.  Then I get the fish in and it was a 8 inch pickeral.  All that for a micro pickeral!

Jonser had 2 huge perch too.  Really nice fish.

We were talking and I have yet to meet anyone from Iceshanty that hasn't been a stand-up person.   This is a great site!!
