I've been past Piedmont several time's now while on my way to some strip pit's to ice fish and haven't seen anyone out there. I heard that the ice is lousy and not safe. I really wanted to walk out on the old road bed and fish the drop off edge's. Salt Fork Dam area was open water just a few day's ago for some reason. It's weird how there's such a different the thickness of ice from one end of a lake or pond to the other this year. I'm sure the snow didn't help at all.
